My ears are delighted by praise songs about the birth of our Savior;
my eyes are pleased with all of the lights and decorations of the the season;
my soul is comforted with the thought that we have been blessed with family, friends, and fun-filled year;
my excitement level peaks with thoughts of the new year and new opportunities to come!
Corny? Sure! But if you know how much I love the holidays, this is no surprise to you! I tried to convince Adam to let me decorate the house the day after Halloween (Nov 1st). He said that I couldn't do it until December 1st! We compromised on November 15th and since that was on a Monday, I was able to move it to the 13th, because, of course, I needed the weekend to get everything in its place : ) Ha!
Left: Me and my Christmas elf (Cookie Monster) prepping to decorate in our holiday PJs!!
We even saw snow on Christmas..in Alabama! If you are from up North, I use the term snow liberally :) We had enough snow to make a few snowballs!! Wooo! Not snowmen, just snowballs!
Adam got a scope for rifle. I guess it is cool. I haven't seen him much since he won't come out of the woods!
